Deceased Name: ANTHONY BORDONARO

Anthony "Whitey" Bordonaro, 87, of Cicero died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.

Born in Syracuse, he was a life resident of the North Syracuse and Cicero areas. He retired after 20 years with Carrier Corp. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, a member of the Cicero Melody Makers, a former Boy Scout leader in North Syracuse, a former coach for the General Electric girls softball team and a Civil Defense volunteer during World War II.

Survivors: His wife, the former Lena DeFeo; a son, Norman of Syracuse; a daughter, Rosemarie Eggleston of Schenectady; two brothers, Carmen of Syracuse and Albert of Camillus; two sisters, Jennie Pizzuti of Florida and Mary Bancheri of Syracuse; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Services: At a time to be announced Wednesday at Farone & Son Funeral Home. Burial, Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours, 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 1500 Park St., Syracuse
