Henry Badtram, 56, passed away Thursday, December 16, 1971, at his farm home near Bennett.

Funeral services were 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 18, at Frick Funeral Home in Durant, with Pastor L. Jack Ehlers officiating. Max Lauser was the vocalist. Pallbearers were Raymond Henningsen, Leroy Henningsen, Ellsworth Voelkers, Duane Meyer, Harold Badtram and Richard Feldpausch. Burial will be in Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.

Henry Badtram was born May 15, 1915, in Scott County, the son of Edward and Annie (Blake) Badtram. He received his education in the Scott County schools. He married Mildred Lucille LaMaack on June 1, 1949, in Davenport. Together they farmed the family farm near Bennett.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred; three sons, Larry Badtram, Gary (Patricia) Badtram and Gene Badtram, all of Bennett; two sisters, Alice Henningsen of DeWitt and Dorothy (Melvin) Dammann of Eldridge; five brothers, Albert (Dorothy) Badtram of Calamus, Robert (Margaret) Badtram of Clarence, Harry (Alta) Badtram of Long Grove, Clarence (Alberta) Badtram and Edward (Roselyn) Badtram, both of Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother-in-law, John Henningsen and one nephew, Terry Badtram.
