Edward Badtram, 89, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Manor Care on Utica Ridge. In accordance with his wishes, no visitation or service is planned. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Edward was born in rural Scott County and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He went on the Honor Flight in 2014. On May 28, 1960 he married Roselyn Cool. She preceded him in death on June 14, 2000. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he was employed for thirty years by J.I. Case in Bettendorf. A kind and generous person, he enjoyed attending auctions, playing cards, visiting with friends and going for drives. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Mildred Badtram and special friend, Bea Marten. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
