Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Coolidge. The service will follow at 11. Burial will be in Valley Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bishop was born on Feb. 24, 1953, in Phoenix to Charlie and Dorothy Brokeshoulder. She was a corporate assistant for many years as well as a homemaker. She received each day as a blessing, especially those spent with her family. She loved life and took joy in her grandchildren. She loved beading, collecting, dogs, movies and "genuine" people. She was kind, loving, honest, forthright, compassionate, loyal and strong.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie, with whom she spent 12 years; two sons, Eric Bishop and Wesley Frazier; a daughter, Marie Thompson; two sisters, Carolyn Brokeshoulder and Mary Lozania; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Dawes and Vesta Miller; and three brothers, Fred, Max and Charles Brokeshoulder Jr.
Heritage Coolidge Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
