Deceased Name: Obituary: Blanche Maybell Pyper Liebelt Blanche Maybell Pyper Liebelt, age 86, died March 13, 2000, with her family at her side.

She was born August 15, 1913 in Heber City, Utah to John Barton and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson Pyper. She married Gustave Charles Liebelt, September 1, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married 66 years. Her sweetheart for life and all eternity, preceded her in death January 11, 2000.

Mother ("Grandma Honey") will be remembered for her unconditional love and interest in teaching the youth. She was active in the LDS Church her entire life and she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and working in the temple.

She was devoted to her husband and family and gave "much credit" to her mother for her love and understanding of the gospel.

She cherished her dear friends, neighbors and "adopted-families" and she would want us to say "thank you" today to all those who have surrounded and watched over her (and Gus) for many, many years.

She is survived by three daughters and one son: Carole La Fee-Poston (John) of Las Vegas, NV; Bruce P. Liebelt (Dixie) of Westlake Village, CA; Joan Glissmeyer-Sheffield (Lynn) of Salt Lake City, UT; and Francine Jarman-Hofmann (James) of Springville, UT. Also, 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family appreciates the wonderful staff at Highland Cove Health Care Center for all the comfort and loving care that they provided for all of us during her residency there. Also, our appreciation for all of the support and care provided by the staff of Utah's Heritage Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2000 at 12 noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, where family and friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:45-11:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
