Her death certificate lists her name as "Nettie Beauchamp," and lists her birth date as 5 Jul 1862, in Carrollton (1862 makes more sense, due to the fact that her brother, Samuel "Sam" A. Powell was born on 5 Jan 1865, which would have been impossible if Mattie was indeed born in Jul 1864). Her son, Jefferson Davis Beauchamp, was the informant.

Married Charles "Charlie" Eli Beauchamp on 29 May 1881, in Carroll County, Georgia.
