FELIX FOOTE SR.
LONACONING-Felix Foote Sr., 91 died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
A native of here he was a son of the late Felix and Sarah (Wright) Foote. His wife, Agnes (Dick) Foote preceded him in death.
A member of the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company for 70 years, he was a past president and past chaplain of the Allegany-Garrett Fireman's Association. Mr. Foote was a retired miner and a retired custodian of Central High School. He was a member of Lonaconing Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Felix Foote Jr. here, three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Giles, Cumberland, Mrs. Leoma Davvison Westernport and Mrs. Beatrice Chaney Laurel, a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly and two brothers D. Gipson Foot and Leslie Foot all of here , 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at The Eichhorn Funeral Home today from 7 until 9 P.M. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 P.M.
A service will be conducted at the Methodist Church Friday at 2 P.M. with the Rev. F. Blaine Rinker officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland, Members of the Goodwill Fire Company will serve as Pallbearers, Honorary Bearers will be grandsons.
The body will be taken to the church at noon on Friday.
The Goodwill Fire Company will conduct a memorial service tomorrow at 7 P.M. in the funeral home. the Allegany-Garrett County Fireman's Association will conduct a service at 7:30 P.M.
