HERMINE HOEFFNER AGE: 97 MORRISTOWN Hermine Hoeffner, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at the home of her daughter, Elizabeth in Madison, NJ. She was 97. Born in NYC, NY, she lived in Morristown since 1945. She was a graduate of Merchants & Bankers Business School, NYC. Hermine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and business woman. For 65 years, she worked alongside her husband, Martin, who started a butcher shop, Hoeffners, on Market St. in Morristown in 1945. She was a former member of the Women's Club of Morristown and Acorn Hall. She is predeceased by her husband, Martin and her brother Rudolph G. Wimmer, and survived by her three children, Elizabeth Hoeffner of Madison, Martin and his wife Carol of Morris Plains, and Steven of Morristown. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Douglas and Martin and six great-grandchildren, Abagail, Martin, Gennevive, Laura, Sydney and Griffin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption, Morristown on Monday at 10:00AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown. Hours of visitation are from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Doyle Funeral Home, 106 Maple Ave., Morristown, NJ 07960. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hermine's memory to Atlantic Homecare & Hospice 33 Bleeker St., Millburn, NJ 07041.
