Visitation will be Sat, Oct. 4, 2003 from 5-9 and on Sun, from 8 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. Honeycutt, 88, of Vowells Mill, La., died Fri, October 3, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital in Natchitoches. She was a native of Vowells Mill. She was a homemaker and a member of New Cedron Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phanor Honeycutt; one son James; parents William Tynes and Della Beason Tynes; and a number of brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her two daughters, Yvonne Holland (Truman) of Natchitoches, and Lola Tahquechi and fiance Sam Stewart of Elgin, Ok; one son Charles Honeycutt (Shelby) of Vowells Mill, and special friend Annie Lambert of Vowells Mill, one sister, Irene Sims or Ragley, La.; five grandchildren, July Maley of Robeline, Ronald Holland of Natchitoches, Debra Mountain of Elgin, Ok, Paula Hilton of Natchitoches, and Susan Lukens of Robeline; ten great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Maley, Ronald Holland, Christopher Baca, Jace Morris, Anthony Maley, and Billy Maley. Honorary pallbearers will be Truman Holland, Robert Lukens, Thomas Hilton, and Sam Stewart.
