Claudia (Potts) Smallwood 82 of Fulton Mo. passed away at Fulton Manor Care Center on Saturday February 26, 2011. She was born January 6, 1929 n Callaway County the daughter of Everett Gifford and Maudie (Salmons) Gifford Myers. Her parents, husband William "Toad" Potts one daughter Carolyn Sue Salmons , one son in law and two grandsons preceded her in death.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Wilma Johnson of Calwood Mo. Vickie Keith of Lees Summit Mo. and Marla Springer of Woodstock Virginia.two sons, Billy Potts of Clark Mo. and Clifford Potts of St Louis, twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
Claudia was a waitress for several years, she also worked at the Callaway Community Hosptal, Fulton State Hospital and the Shoe Factory.
Graveside services will be at 2p.m. on Tuesday March 1, 2011 at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton Mo. with Rev. Mike Crowson officiatng. Visitation will be fro 12p.m. to 1;30p.m. Tuesday March 1, 2001 at the funeral home.
