Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at China Spring United Methodist Church, the Rev. Vernon Lamcke officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Wallace was born Feb. 14, 1897, in Hillsboro, Tennessee. He was a retired carpenter and had lived in the China Spring area since 1957. He was a member of China Spring United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Wallace; three daughters, Mrs. Byron (Ruby) Talbert of China Spring, Mrs. J. W. (Annie) Whisenant of Houston and Mrs. T. M. (Earline) Nelson of Seguin; a son, Thomas W. Wallace of Wasco, Calif., sister, Mrs. Alice Goodwin of Tennessee; brother, John Wallace of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
