Graveside services were held for Cecil Campbell of Odessa. Mr. Campbell was born in the Lone Oak Community in Young County and was a graduate of Olney High School. Cecil Collins Campbell married Pauline Russell of Westover on 16 March 1940 in Megargel, Texas. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church. Services were held at an Odessa Lutheran church with Rev. A.G. Matlock officiating. Survivors include his wife; two sons - Colin Campbell, Kim Campbell; his mother; two brothers - Clarence Campbell and Floyd Campbell.

Entered Army Air Corps, 1942, trained at Kelly Field, Tex. and Mo. Served in N. Africa and Italy. Awarded GCM, Pres. Cit., ETO and 6 Battle Stars.
