Gcoruc Rushing Campbell, 79, a resident of the Olney area for 50 years, died at 5 p. m, Sunday at Olnry Hamilton Hospital He had been ill for four years.

Funeral services were conduced at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of which he was a member with Rev. J.C. Foester, pastor officiating.

A retired farmer. Campbell was born December 14, 1871 in Parker County and was married to the former Miss Arldie Mae Gilley at Veal Station, Parker County, on December 28. 1904. They moved to Olney in 1906

Surviving are his wife; four sons. Floyd Campbell of Fort Worth; Clarence Campbell of LaPryor, Glenn Campbell of Lubbock and Cecil Campbell of Odessa; two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Leath of Houston and Mrs. Bess Erwin of LaQuanta, Texas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
