"Leland RaFell Dickey, age 73, passed away Saturday, July 1, 1995.
He was born October 1, 1921, in Honeyville, Utah, a son of Allen Benjamin and Ethyl Nelson Dickey. He married Mary June Allphin on December 15, 1943, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away February 9, 1994.Survivors include two daughters, four sons and their spouses: Connie Jean and Larry Erickson, Elko, Nev.; John Reuben and Cherie Dickey, Salt Lake City; Sherryl Louise and Lynn Fowers, Genola; Ray Allen and Pat Dickey, Evanston, Wyo.; David Lee and Linda Rae Dickey, Price; Del Scott and Edith Marie Dickey of East Carbon, Utah; 32 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one brother and five sisters, Aaron Dickey, and Virginia Taylor, both of Orem; Genieve Jackman, Ogden; Mary Lou Musselman, Roy; Zola, Orem; and Marjorie Butler, Lake Shore; an uncle, Harold Nelson of Nephi; special friend, Laura Keller of Payson.
He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter, Robert Lee and Marilee Dickey; and six brothers, Leonard, Woodrow, Arnold, Cecil, Mickie and Benjamin.
Services will be Wednesday, July 5, 1995, 11 a.m. in the Payson 18th LDS Ward Chapel, 650 West 800 South. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. or at the church Wednesday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Provo City Cemetery with military rites accorded by the VFW, Dist. #4."
