JAMES L. COULTER DIES AT HIS HOME NEAR JACKSONVILLE
James L. (Jim) Coulter, 79, died at 6:40 o'clock this morning at his farm home, three miles northeast of Jacksonville. He had been ill three weeks.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Frank Belcher of Moberly, Miss Mildred Coulter, of the home and Mrs. Lee Brock of Jacksonville; three sons, J. W. Coulter of Chula Vista, Calif., Frank Coulter of Jacksonville and Pfc. Willard Coulter serving with the armed forces in England; a brother, John W. Coulter of Excello; and a sister, Mrs. Sallie Cooley of Moberly.
Mr. Coulter was born and reared and spent his entire life on the farm where he died. He was a member of the Jacksonville Masonic Lodge.
The body is at the home, where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. B. V. Powell, pastor of Trinity Methodist church. Burial will be in the Coulter cemetery on the homeplace.
