Mrs. Mattie Jay Lyons, 90, of Wiggins died February 3, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Lyons was a member at Bethel Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; S. B. Lyons, daughter; Shirley Diane Lyons, grandson; Jeremy Todd McGee, four brothers; Levoy, Leon, Travis, James Boone and two sisters; Grace Dearman and Gladys Smith.
She is survived by a daughter; Brenda Lyons of Wiggins, a brother; Rev. Emmett Boone of Hattiesburg, three grandsons; Chuck (Penny) McGee, Clay (Kelli) McGee and Brian (Belinda) McGee, four great grandson; Christopher (Jenni), J.J., Jeremy and Trevor (Katelyn), four great granddaughters; Sesli, Lori, Katie and Brittany and two great-great grandchildren; Brock and Makenzie.
Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
