Obit:Adela Aulgur, 89 year-old native of Brackettville, died Saturday in a hospital in Uvalde. Rites will be held Friday at 10 am, in Brackettville at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church with burial on the Aulgur Ranch under the direction of Rushing, Estes, Knowles Funeral Home. Mrs. Aulgur was born in Brackettville Feb 13, 1897. She was a teacher and resided in California before returning to Brackettville. Her husband, Ernest Aulgur, died in 1973. Survivors include her daughter Elise Ann Huntsman of Fort Clark Springs, Anna Legg of Graeagle, California and Ernestine Lopez of Redwood City, California; her sister Else Sauer of Brackettville; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
