Grace Folsom Gilcrease, daughter-in-law of the late Thomas Gilcrease Sr., died Tuesday in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was 80. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Laird Funeral Home Chapel in Nacogdoches. Burial will be in Sunset Memoral Park Cemetery. Mrs. Gilcrease married Thomas Gilcrease Jr., son of the founder of the Gilcrease Museum, in 1935. After his father's death in 1962, Gilcrease Jr. was president of the Gilcrease Foundation until his death in 1967. The couple moved to Nacogdoches from San Antonio after Gilcrease retired as vice president of Gilcrease Oil Co. in 1964. A native of Kansas, Mrs. Gilcrease received degrees from Hominy High School and Draughon College in Tulsa. After high school, she taught for one year in a one-room schoolhouse. She worked for a law firm after her graduation from Draughon. Survivors include one son, Eugene Folsom Gilcrease; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
