She Died Thursday in Metter Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mrs. Hooks was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County and was a member of Stillmore Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Ferris Hathcock of Port St. Joe, Fla.; one sister, Peggy Stubbs of Metter; two grandchildren and four grest-grandchildren.
Kennedy-Morgan Funeral Home of Metter had charge of arrangements.
