William J (Bink) Wallace, of 409 E Court Street died at 1pm Saturday April 17 at Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness.

He lived in Ludington all his life and was a graduate of St Simon High School. He was married to Catherine Marasco and she survives. He was a longtime member of St Simon Catholic Church and for the love of God he spent many hours a day in prayer. He had been a custodian at Mason County Court House for over 40 years and later retired. He then drove a school bus for 22 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His contagious laugh and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He loved the outdoors and was well known for his swimming abilities and his love for the beach.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one daughter, Carol Wicklund of Ludington, one son James (Susan) Wallace of Ludington, eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Wallace of Ludington; one sister, Dorothy Ranville of Clio; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one son, WM (Binky) Wallace and son-in-law, Jack Wicklund. Private family services for Mr Wallace will be conducted Tuesday morning at Alexander Rye Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pere Marquette Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
