Osa was born Nov26, 1905 at Brushy Run to Jacob F. Alt and Anna Catherine Kimble Alt. Osa had 8 brothers and 4 sisters. Two brothers died in infancy. They were raised in Smoke Hole. His father was a woodman. His mother was a homemaker.On July 11, 1926 in Upper Tract Osa married Ethel Hannah Shreve. Osa was a woodsman like his father. Ethel was a homemaker. They had four children: Velma Pearl, Audrey Cleo, Ressie Margaret and Clinton Preston. Osa Died on Jan. 15, 1935 in Upper Tract. This left Ethel to raise four small children by herself. Velma Peral married Mervin W. Kimble. They had eight daughters and four sons. Audrey Cleo married Orville C. Mowery. They had six daughters and four sons. Ressie Margaret married Harlan William Kimble. They had five daughters and two sons. Clinton Preston married Ruby Gail Borror. They had two daughters and three sons.Cause of death is listed as pneumonia following measles. he was 29 years 1 month and 18 days at time of death.
