When he did not return for lunch his wife, Anna K. Hutter called his brother, Ignatius G. Hutter, and asked if he had reported at the office. Being told that he had not been seen there and advised to look in the garage the doors of which she had noticed were partly closed, she discovered her husband sitting at the wheel of the car, a Buick brougham, the doors of the car partly closed, and his hand on the wheel. He had been dead for some time. Coroner Murray said that an inquest was unnecessary.
