The Revs. Virgil Jones and J. D. Kitchingham officiated in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home at Columbia and burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery, accompanied by Masonic rites performed by Columbia Lodge 164.
In addition to his widow, Mrs. Jessie Young of Grayson, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. E. H. Duplissey Jr. of St. Joseph; two brothers, Paul Young of Columbia and Elbert Young of West Monroe; one sister, Mrs. J. T. McGee of Ft. Necessity, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
