Wilbert G. "Willie" Abraham, age 53, of Janesville died on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Immanuel St. Joseph's – Mayo Health System in Mankato.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville, with Rev. Stanley Rosenau and Vicar Michael Schuette officiating. Interment will be in the Alma City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28th (Today) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home and Crematory in Janesville and will continue on Wednesday morning for one hour prior to services at church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Willie's family has requested that everyone wear camouflage to the visitation, in memory of Willie.

Willie was born on November 11, 1956, in Waseca, Minnesota, to Wayne and Mildred (Marsh) Abraham. Willie attended Janesville public schools. After high school Willie was employed as a gold miner for the Cripple Creek Mining Co. in Cripple Creek, Colorado. He was confirmed on November 30, 1998, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. On September 7, 2002, he was united in marriage to Jeanette L.Griffin at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Willie was a welder for various manufacturing businesses in the area including Hiniker Co., Jacobsen Metal Fabricating, both in Mankato, and Corchran Inc. of Waseca. Most recently, he was employed by Itron in Waseca. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. Willie's passion was duck and deer hunting, he loved the outdoors;. He was an avid member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette of Janesville; by his two sons Gary Abraham of Waseca and Jesse Abraham; by two stepsons Taff Shoultz (Lori Daschner) and Trevor (Stephanie) Shoultz, all of Janesville; by his stepdaughter Tessie (Jim) Splett of Cleveland; by his five special grandchildren, Allissa Shoultz, Jersi Shoultz, Allie Shoultz, Madison Shoultz and Travyn Shoultz; by his two brothers, Chick (Laurie) Abraham of Janesville and Wendall Abraham of Remer; by many nieces, nephews and other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by one son in infancy; and his brother Wade Abraham.
