Wendall W. "Doc" Abraham, age 64 of Remer, Minnesota, formerly of Janesville, died on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at his home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home and Crematory in Janesville with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin, Officiate. Interment will be in the Janesville Cemetery.

The Abraham Family will greet friends on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

Wendall Wayne was born on July 22, 1946 in Mankato, Minnesota to Wayne L. and Mildred E. (Marsh) Abraham. He was a 1964 graduate of Janesville High School. "Doc" was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Smiths Mill. On September 18, 1965 he was united in marriage to Peggy Halstead at the Janesville United Methodist Church. During the time he resided in the Janesville area, Doc co-owned and operated Erv's Bait Shop in Elysian. He later began his long career with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. For the last several years Doc has resided in Remer, Minnesota, and recently retired from the railroad after over 35 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood crafting.

He is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Lowell) Bronstad, Sr. of Janesville and their children Ashley, Lowell, Jr, Megan and Lexi; Fay Abraham of Waseca and her children Dustin, Lindsey, Logan and Isaiah; Julie Carlson (special friend Rick Ratcliff) of Janesville and her children Elizabeth, Amanda, Tyler and Terry, Jr.; by his three great grandchildren, Taylor, Daunte, and Tamyah; by his brother Wayne "Chick" (Laurie) Abraham of Janesville, and his sister-in-law Jeanette Abraham of Janesville; by his former wife Peggy (Tom) Reed of Janesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two brothers in 2010, Wade "Barney" Abraham and Wilbert "Willie" Abraham.

Casketbearers will be Wayne "Chick" Abraham, Lowell Bronstad Sr., Rick Ratcliff, Logan Abraham, Gary Burhop, and Erv Halstead.
