Cyril Sharkey passed away at Oakland, Cal., Monday, March 12, 1956, at the age of 54.
He was born at Grafton, Neb., and spent all but the last 13 years in Grafton community.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mildred. He is survived by his brothers, Raymond and Frank and sister, Edna.
Funeral services were held Friday morning at St. Helena's Catholic Church at 9:30, Rev. Thomas Kadlec officiating at requiem mass. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leo Hoarty, Frank Hoarty, Tom Griffin, Charles Hourigan, Billy Sharkey and Gerald Sharkey.
