He was born in Everlingen Jan. 24, 1824.
He came to America in the year 1850. Settled first in Port Washington, then moved to Memphis Tenn. For two years, and then settled, coming through Milwaukee, in 1860 in the town Waumandee, Buffalo Co., Wisc.
In 1878 he moved to Clay Co. Minn in Barnesville, then died there April 10, at the age of 63 and 3 months.
He left behind a widow Anne Mallinger from Junglinster and 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 sons. All children are grown and in good health.
