Mrs. Johnson W. Burnett
AUSTINVILLE—Mrs. Mattie Sharp Burnett, 62, wife of Johnson W. Burnett, died in a
Pulaski hospital Monday, November 10, 1969. Also surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Robert Webb, Woodlawn, and Miss Una Faye Burnett and Miss Fieda Burnett,
Lanham, Md.; four sons, Ray Burnett and Gale Burnett, Austinville; Gene Burnett,
Oxon Hill, Md., and Doris Burnett, Woodlawn; a brother, Ernest Sharp, Woodlawn;
and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Coulson, Martinsville, and Mrs. Raymond Carpenter,
Austinville.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant View Church, in
Carroll County.
Interment was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens, Galax.
Morehead Funeral Home had charge of arrangements services.
