MIFFLINTOWN: MARY E. ALEXANDER, 90, of RR 1, Mifflintown (Cuba Mills), died at 9 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at the Locust Grove Retirement Village, HC 67, Mifflin.
She was born March 4, 1916, in Fermanagh Twp, Juniata County, a daughter of the late J. Roy and Emma (Clark) Alexander.
She is survived by: one daughter-in-law, Charlene S. Alexander, RR 1, Mifflintown; one sister, Bernice Geraldine Orris and her husband, Donald E., Carlisle; two grandsons, Jeffrey Alexander and his wife, Kathy, RR 1, Mifflintown, Nathan Alexander and his wife Ellie, Mifflintown; two great grandchildren Stephany Wagner, Kyle Alexander; and two great-great-granddaughters, Morgan Foltz and Macy Wagner.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald E. Alexander; two sisters, Ann Swartz and one in infancy; one brother, Robert Alexander, and one great-granddaughter, Bethany Alexander.
She was a homemaker and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mifflintown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2006, from the Brown Funeral Homes Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Roy Brubaker officiating. Interment will follow in the Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, McAlisterville.
Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.Page: On Line
