Illness Fatal to Jim Killebrew

Services to be held 4 O'clock Monday Afternoon

Funeral services were to be held 4 O'clock Monday afternoon this afternoon at Kiker
Chapel for Jim Killebrew, 79, who passed away Sunday night at eleven-thirty at the local hospital. He has been seriously ill for the past two weeks.

Mr. Killebrew was born in Dallas County, and lived in Ellis County most of his life. He
came to Breckenridge in 1930 and was a gin operator until he retired in 1937. He was
born May 31, 1867. He lived at 515 E. Lindsey Street. Besides his wife, he is survived
by a daughter, Mrs. R. W. Harp of Fort Worth, eleven grandchildren, a sister, Mrs.
Elizabeth Norton of Clarksville, Arkansas, nine nieces, and seven nephews also survive.

Rev. A. J. Morgan was to officiate, assisted by James Greer and Rev. Edgar H Graham.
Pallbears were named as Tom Pennington, Jess Bloxum, Owen Flauntleroy, Joe Baumgardener, C. L. Woods, and Fred Mendenhall. Intererment was to be Breckenridge Cemetery.
