Geneva Pioneer Buried
Funeral rites for the late James H. Abbott, 70, for 65 years a resident of Geneva township and a well known brick mason, were held yesterday afternoon at the Monks Corners community hall, with burial at the Monks Corners cemetery. His death occurred Saturday night at his Geneva home. Surviving him are his widow and one son, Claud Abbott, at home, a daughter, Mrs. Engle of South Haven, two brothers, Louis and Will Abbott, and a sister, Mrs. Lillian Wertenberger, all of Bangor, besides four grandchildren.
