Born in Canton, Ohio, I grew up at Camp Wanake, near Beach City, where my father was camp caretaker for 38 years. I graduated from Fairless High School, Otterbein College, and Central Michigan University. My work in broadcasting took me all over the Midwest. Now retired, I can spend time on more important activities, like family, church, our community band, and re-acquainting myself with long-lost family members.
