She married Kin Hunt about 1898 according to the 1900 Federal Census. She was the twin sister of Martha Locklear Hunt.
She is buried beside her twin sister. Kin was the first cousin of Martha's husband, K. B. Hunt. K. B.'s father, William Berry, was the older brother of Kin's father, Hinyard, Sr.
***NOTE: Mary had two children. Her eldest son, William Redmond Locklear, was my great grandfather. Her youngest son, Neil Datra Locklear, married Leola Hunt. Leola is buried at Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg, NC.
