OBITUARY.
Brizida [sic] Kelley was born in Westport, Ireland, May 1, 1823, and died at her home in Doniphan, Nebr., August 17, 1922, aged 99 years, 3 months and 16 days. At an early age she came to America with her father and sisters and in 1850 was united in marriage to William Fanning at Goshen, N. Y. The family later moved to Illinois. To this union were born one son and four daughters. The husband and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Steele, preceded her in death.

Grandma Fanning, as she was familiarly called, was a consistent christian and int the years of her infirmity found comfort and consolation in His Word.

The deceased had been a resident of Hall county for the last thirty-four years. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the home in Doniphan, Rev. J. A. Martin being in charge. Burial was made in the Cedar View cemetery.
