Mrs. Catharina Kuhn Haehl,
Life Long Resident of County Passes Away --
Funeral Thursday.

Mrs. Catharina Kuhn Haehl, 76 years old, widow of George Haehl, died at her home, in Union township, at 5 o'clock this morning from a complication of diseases with which she had suffered for some time.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Zion Evangelical church in Union township, at 10 o'clock Thursday morning and burial will be in the church cemetery. R. T. Stewart is the undertaker in charge.
Mrs. Haehl was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Ann Theobald Kuhn, and was born in Shelby county, May 1, 1849. Early in life, she was united in marriage to Mr. Haehl, who preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1924. To this union eleven children were born. One son, Oscar, passed away in infancy. Five sons and five daughters are living. The daughters are: Mrs. Jacob Gahimer, Mrs. Albert Callahan, Mrs. Scott Fox, and Mrs. Julius Theobald, of this county and Mrs. Argus Wagner, of Rush county.
Mrs. Haehl was a devoted member of the Zion's Evangelical church and was a woman of lovely character. She was widely known thruout the county and her death is the cause of much sorrow.
