MARION - Elise H. Roberts, 92, wife of the late H. B. Roberts, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Marion Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Loris, SC, a daughter of the late H. Quincy and Minnie Pridgen Harrelson. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow Harrelson and Winston Harrelson; and three sisters, Evon Phipps, Minnette Hill and Edna Tyler.
Mrs. Roberts was a member of Berea Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Loris Manufacturing and Hubert Mills in Marion.
Surviving are one son, Lester Wayne Roberts (Carolyn) of Manning; three daughters, Judy Carroll (James) of Conway, Lunette R. Collins (Leverne) and Pearline Williams (O'Neal) all of Marion; one brother, Dorris Harrelson of Tabor City, NC; one sister, Peggy Clemons of Green Sea, SC; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 from Berea Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Jenerette and the Rev. Earl Spivey officiating.
