ADA "BEA" CELESTA WASHINGTON, 71, of Huntington, wife of Vernell L. Washington, died Wednesday at home. She was a homemaker. Also surviving are three daughters, Phyllis Dotson, Shirleanne Ewing and Donna Worthy; four stepdaughters, Tanda Scott of Columbus, Ohio, Darlene Kay Newman of Huntington, and Natelia L. Standifer and Margaret L. Farrows, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one son, Ed Carter of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Emma Carter of Lester, Vivian Carter of Boston and Helen Carter of Beckley. Funeral 1 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church; burial in Springhill Cemetery.
