Mrs. Ashlock was born 5 May 1916 in Graford, Palo Pinto County, Texas. She moved to Olney with her parents in December 1916. She attended the local schools and was graduated in 1933 one of a group of eight students who started together i the first grade. She was united in marriage to J.G. Ashlock, 8 June 1935. No children were born to this union.
She joined the First Christian Church of Olney when she was 17 years of age and was a member of the time of her death. She died from a heart attack in Olney, Texas.
Survivors: parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Perry; husband - J.G. Ashlock; two sisters - Mrs. Garlan Carr of Bishop, Mrs. B.F. Tucker, of Royalty; two brothers - Jake and John H. Perry, both of Olney; grandmother - J.T. Halliburton of Breckenridge.
