BAXTER - Funeral services for Boda Leftwich Waller, 85, of Silver Point will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, from the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Smellage Cemetery.

The family is currently receiving friends at the funeral home.

Mrs. Waller died on Sunday, May 3, 1998, at Baptist DeKalb Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1912, in Putnam County to the late Martin Alexander and Bessie Anderson Leftwich. Mrs. Waller was a homemaker and a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Brenda Waller of Baxter; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Willene and Keith Kinniard and Joann Maynard, all of Silver Point, Lois and Douglas Boyd of Indiana, Dimple and Willard Reeves of Ohio, and Sandy and Dennis Cunningham of Cookeville; a brother, Paul Leftwich of Baxter; a sister, Bernardine Alcorn of Baxter; nine grandchildren, Keith Kinniard Jr., Marty Reeves, Mike Boyd, Sherry Mason, Gail Vanover, Stephanie Giles, Chris Maynard, Mike Lafever, and Landon Cunningham; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Waller; a brother, Joe Leftwich; and a son-in-law, Tom Maynard.

Bro. Shelby Mainers will officiate at the services.
