BAXTER – Funeral services for Joe Lewis Leftwich, 79, of Baxter, will be held Friday November 2 at 1:00 in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Leftwich died Wednesday, October 31, 1900 at Master's Health Care Center.
Son of the late Martin Alexander and Bessie Anderson Leftwich, he was born July 19, 1911 in Putnam County, TN.
Mr. Leftwich was a retired farmer.
His family includes his wife Velma Ward Leftwich of Baxter, 1 daughter, Barbara Gower of Baxter; 3 sons, Eugene and James Leftwich both of Baxter and Delano Leftwich of GA; 2 sisters, Boda Waller of Silver Point, and Dean Alcorn of Baxter; 1 brother, Paul Leftwich of Baxter; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
