Milan was born in Texas on May 28, 1906, and had resided in Chico for the last four years. He was employed by the J.G. Bratton Farm and also by the Mills Orchard.

Survivors include his widow Lillie; seven sons, Tommy T. of Kingman, Arizona, Douglas O'Neal, Joe, Milan Leroy, and John C. of Chico, Hilry of Hamilton City, California, and Wayne Dale of Orland, California; seven daughters, Mrs. Cora Mae McCullough of Junction, Texas, Mrs. Katie F. Forbes of Artesia, New Mexico, Mrs. Mary Ann Ygelsais of Texas, Mrs. Shirley Maxine Goodman of Hamilton City, California, Mrs. Dorothy Wallace of Texas, and Patsy Lue and Margaret Ruth Talk of Chico; 52 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Lillie B. Belk of Waco, Texas, Mrs. Fannie Henry, Mrs. Willie Romine, and Mrs. Annie Tatum all of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Addie Wallace of George West, Texas, Mrs. Eva Partridge of Dallas, Texas; and two brothers, Gardner and Thomas Darnell Talk of San Antonio, Texas.

Milan was pre deceased by his parents, Thomas and Lille O'Neal Talk; sister, Mrs. Mollie Charlotte Winters; brothers, John William and Lang Talk all of Texas; and son Paul Davis Talk.
