SILVER POINT: Funeral services for Sam Estle Jared, 66, of Silver Point, will be held Monday, November 4, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. at Boma Church of God with Brother Clyde Cunningham, Brother Archie Whitehead, and Brother Mike Pack officiating.
Burial will be in the Smellage Memory Gardens in the Boma community.
Mr. Jared was dead on arrival at Cookeville General Hospital on Friday, November 1, 1991.
He was employed with the State Department of Transportation.
He was born July 31, 1925, in Putnam County. He was the son of the late Robert Simon and Dealie Whitehead Jared.
He was a member of Boma Church of God and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
His family includes his wife, Lorene Maxwell Jared of Silver Point; two sons, Gerald Jared of Summerdale, AL, and Phil Jared of Union City, GA; one brother, Julius Jared of Baxter; two grandsons, Jerry and Stephen Jared; two granddaughters, Leah and Shawna Jared.
