Services for Katheryn "Louise" Rogers, 63, Lawrence, will be at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers died Sunday, April 2, 2006, at her home. She was born April 14, 1942, in Macon County, Mo., the daughter of William Paris and Eva Bell Marks Wheeler. She grew up in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a lifelong member of the Lawrence community. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and a member of Al-Anon. She married Leslie Rogers on Oct. 2, 1959, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home. Other survivors include a son, Leslie Steven Rogers, Lawrence; a daughter, Terrilynn Rogers, Sedalia, Mo.; a brother, Robert Wheeler, La-Plata, Mo.; three sisters, Francis Siegfried, Sterling, Colo., Nadine Bryan, Ottawa, and Juanita Jacobs, Sun City, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home before the service. The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care in Douglas County, sent in care of the funeral home.
