Helen Giese Albers, 94, of Valparaiso, Ind., formerly of Peoria, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Whispering Pines Health Care Center in Valparaiso.
Born Nov. 10, 1907, in Newark, N.J., to Fred and Nellie Rogers Stiehl, she married Dr. Martin Giese on June 12, 1928. He died in 1960.
She later married the Rev. George Albers on Aug. 8, 1970. He died in 1970.
Surviving are one son, the Rev. Roger (and Karla) Giese of Temperance, Mich.; one daughter, Marlynn (and the Rev. Edgar) Senne of Valparaiso; and one sister, Mildred Abbott of Peoria.
She was a homemaker.
A graveside service will be at Parkview Cemetery.
