Carl Hughes Passes Away
Death came to Carl Garrison Hughes, 42, who was associated with the United States department of agriculture in the forestry service at Hunter-Liggett reservation, yesterday in a local hospital following a short illness. He was a native of Colorado Springs, Colo., where he was born Oct. 7, 1901.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Myra E Hughes and one daughter, Mrs Jean Webb, both of Richmond, Calif., his mother, Mrs Ben Lynch of Minturn, Colo., two brothers, William Hughes of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jack Hughes of Utah and two sisters, both of Minturn.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon from the Muller mortuary followed by interment in the IOOF cemetery.
