Statesboro - Mrs. Eloise Thompson Nesmith, 56, died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah after a short illness.
The Bulloch County native was a Baptist.
Surviving are her husband, Carl B. Nesmith of Statesboro; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Francis Waters Harrell of Blakely; five brothers, Leroy Thompson of Statesboro, Luther and W.M. Thompson, both of Portal, John Raleigh Thompson of Savannah and Doy Thompson of Bonaire; a sister, Mrs. Sybil Ellis of Portal; and four grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Barnes-Hodges-Turner Funeral Directors in Statesboro, burial in Eastside Cemetery.
