LLANO - Vista Mentia Gibson, 93, of Dallas died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in a local nursing home.
Service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Tow with burial in Bluffton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home.
She was born June 13, 1906, in Walters, Okla., and had lived in Tow until 1992 until moving to Dallas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tow and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Naomi Reese of Dallas; a sister, Mada Guthry of Houston; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
