William Markway, a former resident of Jefferson City, died Sunday night at the family home in Nevada, Mo., according to word received yesterday by a nephew, Collector-Elect Al Markway of Wardsville.
Mr. Markway, who was about 65 years of age, left the Capital City approximately forty years ago and resided in South Dakota for a long period, afterwards moving with his family to Nevada. He will be well remembered by the older residents of this section.
Besides his bereaved widow he is survived by a son and daughter along with one brother, Mr. Markway, of Wardsville.
Collector Markway and his parents will leave early today for Nevada to attend the funeral services, which will be held in that city. Burial will also be made there.
