Mrs. Caroline Klopstein, died at the home of her son, Chas. Markway, in Fairview at 7 o'clock Monday evening. She had been married three times, all of her husbands preceding her to the grave. She was married last to Daniel Klopstein, on 2 Aug 1893 in Cole County, Missouri, who died ten years ago. Previous to this she was married to a Mr. Markway; preceding this marriage, to a Mr. Fritz. (Her husband Charles Marquert (Markway) was killed at the end of the Civil War.)
Mrs. Klopstein was an old resident of this city, having resided here some fifty years. She was beloved by all who knew her, and she leaves several children among whom were Fred Markway of Wardsville, Charles, of this city and John of Kansas City.
