Glenn was a son of Fred "Fritz" Frank and Gladys (Ray) Becker. Brother of: Carl Ray, Doris Elnora, Frank, Freda Mae and Gerold "Jerry" Ray. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War serving aboard the USS General G.M. Randall, his favorite memory was stearing the ship through the Panama Canal even though he was the Radioman. He was also stationed in Adak, Alaska with the fire departement as the pump truck driver. He was a sign painter for Avery Borthers Sign Company in Sioux City, Iowa, he also worked as a sandblaster and taxi driver. He was very talented and could draw anything from either sight or memory, and was also a good carpenter. He was married to Mary Lovel Theresa Holder on December 20, 1973 in Elk Point, South Dakota. They had the following child: Jennifer Ann. His cause of death was Colon Cancer.
